# Open sessions — recording and artwork licences

Prepared 30 October 2026. This is a Fair Music Browser listening demo owned by Shikher Verma. No affiliation with the recording artists is implied.

Recordings are complete, without musical edits. Originals are retained in audio/ with replacement metadata tags and embedded sleeves. The listening presentations in media/ add our original, static geometric sleeve as a real H.264 video track. MP3 recordings are transcoded to AAC at 256 kb/s; existing AAC recordings are copied without re-encoding. These are openly licensed adaptations, not original artist music videos. See audio-provenance.json for original-source, tagged-source and presentation checksums. Original album covers are NOT used. Ten original geometric sleeve illustrations by Shikher Verma, generated with make-art.py, are dedicated to the public domain under CC0 1.0 (https://creativecommons.org/publicdomain/zero/1.0/). Artwork does not imply artist endorsement.

The site code is copyright 2026 Shikher Verma, MIT licensed. Permission is granted, free of charge, to use, copy, modify, distribute, sublicense and sell the site code, subject to retaining this notice. THE CODE IS PROVIDED AS IS, WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. This grant does not replace the separate recording licences below.
