# Fair Music Browser: Privacy Policy Last updated: 25 October 2026 Fair Music Browser (launcher name "Fair Music") is made by Shikher Verma. ## The short version We don't collect your data. No accounts, ads or analytics, and no server of ours receives your browsing history, library or purchases. ## What stays on your device The pages you visit, your music library, saved media and settings stay on your device. You can delete songs in Music to free storage. Deleting the app removes the library and browser data. Your lifetime saved-song count is also kept outside the app's storage so reinstalling doesn't reset the 1,000-song free allowance. On iPhone this is one number in the device-only Keychain, not synced. On Android it is one number in Google Play services Block Store, with cloud backup disabled. If those device services aren't available, the app uses its local count. Deleting songs doesn't reduce the count. We can't see this number. ## Purchases The optional one-time unlimited-songs purchase uses Apple's App Store or Google Play. The store processes payment and supplies the app with the purchase entitlement. We don't receive payment details, run a receipt server or receive your purchase history. The app caches the unlock on your device so it can work offline. Restore purchase uses your store account. The stores' own privacy policies apply to their services. ## Websites you visit The app is a browser. Websites and services they use receive the requests your browser makes, as with any browser. Their privacy policies apply. The app doesn't bypass protected (DRM) streams. Only keep music you have the right to keep. ## Open-source browser components The app is built from Brave's open-source browser. Brave's usage pings and anonymous usage statistics (P3A) are off. Wallet, News and VPN are disabled. The app may fetch content-blocking lists and browser component updates from Brave's servers. These requests don't include your browsing history or library. ## Children The app has unrestricted web access and is intended for adults, not children. We don't knowingly collect anyone's personal data. ## Changes and contact Changes are posted at this address with a new date.
