Invoice2go pricing: US plans, invoice limits and billing caveats

Invoice2go's US-English/USD website lists Starter at $7.99/month or $79.99/year, Professional at $11.99/month or $119.99/year, and Premium at $44.99/month or $449.99/year. The cheaper tiers have different invoice limits depending on the billing period, so compare the allowance as well as the price. (Official pricing)

Prices and invoice allowances

When comparing on the site, select Monthly or Annual and wait for both prices and allowances to finish updating. Do not pair a monthly price with an annual invoice allowance. Nor should you assume unused monthly capacity rolls over: confirm the rules for your chosen plan before relying on that.

Monthly versus annual: a filled cost worksheet

Consider a fictional repair worker sending five invoices every month, or 60 per year, without collecting cards through the app. Professional's listed allowances cover that stated workload under either billing interval.

Calculation Amount
Twelve Professional monthly charges: 12 × $11.99 $143.88
One Professional annual subscription $119.99
Difference over twelve months $23.89

This arithmetic uses the published prices above. It excludes taxes and processing, and is not a personalized offer. The annual amount is the yearly subscription charge, not a promise that you can pay it in monthly installments.

Invoice timing matters too. Eight invoices one month and two the next would exceed Professional's listed five-per-month allowance in the busy month, even if the yearly total stayed modest. Confirm how the plan handles excess invoices rather than assuming rollover.

To make your own check:

  1. Count expected invoices for a normal month, your busiest month and the whole year.
  2. Compare those counts with the allowance for the billing interval you intend to buy.
  3. Multiply the monthly charge by the number of months you expect to keep it, then compare with the annual commitment.
  4. Add applicable taxes and payment-route fees before deciding.

Copy this worksheet into a document or spreadsheet, replace the assumptions, and use Print or Save as PDF to keep it:

Trial, renewal and payment fees

The website advertises a 30-day trial. Its FAQ says credit-card details are required and that there are no subscription fees if you cancel within 30 days. Treat this as the website offer; check any store's own trial terms separately. A time-limited trial is not ongoing free use. (Trial FAQ)

Invoice2go's billing policy says subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current price and chosen interval until canceled. It says web subscriptions must be canceled before the term ends, and describes at least 24 hours' notice for app-store subscriptions. Check the renewal date and your biller's current terms before subscribing. The policy carries a November 2021 update label, so do not treat it as a refund guarantee.

Subscription charges also are not the entire cost of collecting card payments. For the specifically documented US Stripe domestic-card route, Invoice2go lists Starter at 3.5% + $0.30, Professional at 3% + $0.30, and Premium at 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction. These are not universal rates for every payment method; the linked help article distinguishes foreign cards and Invoice2go Money Card Payments. (Stripe fee table)

Before canceling or switching

Save your invoices and business records while you still have access, and check the vendor's current export instructions. Invoice2go's pricing FAQ says unpaid expired accounts retain lists and dashboard access but cannot view or edit individual documents or use detailed reports.

Identify the biller from your receipt, then use the matching route:

  • Invoice2go directly: use the vendor's account or support options for your subscription.
  • Apple: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → select the subscription → Cancel Subscription. (Apple instructions)
  • Google Play, on the web: open subscriptions → Manage → Cancel subscription → choose a reason → Continue. (Google instructions)

Invoice2go's billing policy says cancellation stops future renewal and paid access normally continues through the term; check your biller's terms. Refund requests and app/account deletion are separate actions. No refund is promised here, and uninstalling alone does not cancel a Google Play subscription. Installing another invoice app neither cancels Invoice2go nor automatically migrates your records.

When a simpler invoice app fits

If you mainly need estimates and PDFs to send yourself, consider Fair Invoice. It offers unlimited free estimates and the first 10 invoices free with all features, followed by a one-time in-app unlock for unlimited invoices. Check the purchase amount in your store; no US unlock price is quoted here.

Fair Invoice has no card processing and does not automatically check whether a customer paid. It shares PDFs or sends through your own mail app, not a server-sent email service. It is not a feature-for-feature replacement for a payment-collection workflow. (Product details)

Get Fair Invoice on Google Play to try the free allowance before buying an unlock.

FAQ

Is Invoice2go free?

The verified website offer is a 30-day trial requiring credit-card details, not a permanent free subscription. Check the current trial terms before signing up.

Is the annual price charged monthly?

The table's annual figures are yearly subscription totals, not monthly installment offers. For Professional, $119.99 is the listed annual total; confirm the charge schedule at checkout.

Do invoice caps change with the billing interval?

Yes. The checked pricing page showed Starter at 2/month versus 30/year and Professional at 5/month versus 100/year. Premium showed unlimited invoices for both intervals.

Does uninstalling cancel a subscription?

Not for a Google Play subscription, as Google explicitly explains. Use the biller's cancellation route rather than relying on deleting the app.

Can Fair Invoice collect card payments?

No. Fair Invoice creates estimates and invoices but does not process cards or automatically reconcile payments. Choose based on the workflow you need, not just the subscription price.
